This was our 7th summer here…
There is just one problem with the house and its location – it’s perfect, making it difficult to find another holiday destination that is equally good!
We are still reminiscing about all our experiences of the past few days. In the sun, in the wind, pure silence… How we loved it all.
So near and so unexpected … The expansive views and the excellent restaurant … It met all our expectations. Great for our families to get to know the region! The Reitdiep knew nothing about the change in the weather from tropical to showers on Saturday morning, so we could still swim!
Groningen is the best.
What a fabulous region.
We were here to celebrate a wedding. We lucked out with the weather.
Green-roof homes, fantastic.
Cosy, spacious, light and comfortable.
The peace around us.
Spectacular cloud formations. The refreshing water of the Reitdiep.
We marvelled at the starry skies.
A glorious landscape moved only by birds and boats.
Warfhuizen, we’d like to come back.

All of us loved it! What a wonderfully ‘light’ house, time flew, hope to return soon.

Wonderful house, has it all, and oh what peace. Lots of bike rides over wonderful cycle paths through silent fields in glorious weather. With the computer we could take a peak inside the nesting box of the kestrel with its four young. Swam in the Reitdiep just outside the door. Visited Schiermonnikoog, which is so beautiful.
Worth a repeat.

A really beautiful house, with splendid views, in a fabulous area, which we explored on bike, on foot and by car.
The paintings on the wall are a wonderfully colourful representation of the landscape.
A place to return, because we certainly haven’t seen it all yet!

We had the opportunity to stay here temporarily. We are in house G. Our house sold too quickly, so we stayed here until our new house was ready.
No punishment to live here. Peace, space and enjoyment.
